Student Judicial Committee Information
The Office of Judicial Affairs utilizes student committees that represent a peer-review option to an otherwise administratively run hearing. The boards are composed of undergraduate and graduate students who hear cases on a weekly basis. The student judicial committees (SJC) have the same scope of authority (meaning they can sanction someone for anything ranging from a formal warning to permanent dismissal) as any other hearing officer.  For more information about becoming a member of a student judicial committee, go to: http://www.studentprograms.vt.edu/judicial/committee.php.
