If you are interested in working with international students and developing your intercultural competencies, become part of the Cranwell International Center.  Opportunities to get involved include, being an English Conversation Group facilitator, being part of the International Friendship Program, being part of International Street Fair, or being an Orientation Mentor.  With over 2000 international students on campus each year, the Cranwell International Center is looking for student volunteers to help ease the transition of our international students and to participate in our global community. For more information, feel free to contact any of the staff at the CIC.

English Conversation Group facilitator
Designed to help internationals practice conversational English for the purpose of sharing conversation and culture.  There is no charge for these programs.  Volunteer leaders are always welcome.

International Street Fair
Held annually during the first weekend in April, this is one of the largest events on campus.  It is an important opportunity to share in our global community.

International Orientation is held each August and January for all new and transfer, graduate and undergraduate international students.  Orientation includes airport pick-up, temporary housing, campus tours, administrative tasks, and lots of social interaction.  We welcome all student volunteers who are interested in working with our global community.

Cranwell International Center Programs
Programs and activities are held throughout the year to increase multi-cultural communication and interaction.  New ideas are always welcome!

International Friendship Program
A volunteer based, facilitated social network.  This is an opportunity to share your skills and your friendship in mutual rewarding interactions.  No prior experience necessary.  Time commitments vary according to participants.
