University Student Leadership Awards 2008 - "Be Part of the Tradition"
April 17, 2008 marked the 16th annual University Student Leadership Awards. This year, eleven awards ranging from Outstanding New Member to Outstanding Advisor to Outstanding Service to Campus were awarded by the Department of Student Activities at the reception with a theme of 'Be Part of the Tradition' of excellence here at Virginia Tech.
Two new awards were created this year: the Hokie Spirit award for exemplary multi-year service to the Hokie Nation and the Hokie Community award for university staff and faculty who significantly contribute to the campus community.
