Mary is currently serving as Art Programs Coordinator and Director of Perspective Gallery. She has held this position since September 2007. Her job description involves curating exhibitions, running the gallery, supervising gallery personnel, maintaining the permanent art collection in UUSA facilities and acting as design consultant on renovation projects on campus. Prior to this position she was an Adjunct Art Professor at various colleges and universities including Mary received a Masters of Fine Arts in Sculpture from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from The State University of New York. She is an award winning Sculptor and has exhibited her work from New York to San Francisco. Though she is a native of New York, Mary enjoys the beauty of the mountains of Southwest Virginia and traveling to her second home by the ocean in Northern California. |
