Laura Bedenbaugh

Laura Bedenbaugh is the Assistant Dir. of Student Programming and has been in the position since 2004.  Her responsibilities include advising the Virginia Tech Union Programming Council in their programming efforts, serves as one of three advisors to the Homecoming Board, member of the Hokie Hi Welcome Week Committee, and supervises one graduate assistant from the Higher Education/Student Affairs program. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, she was the Coordinator of Student Activities for the Savannah College of Art and Design where she also supervised the programming council.
Laura received her B.A. in Mass Communication from Winthrop University  and her M.Ed from Clemson University in Counseling and Guidance Services: Student Affairs Track.  She was recognized by Epsilon Sigma Alpha International in 2007 for her advising and chartering of the Virginia Tech chapter and in November 2007 she was inducted in Omicron Delta Kappa.
Laura enjoys photography and up and coming music.
