Brian James

Brian James is currently serving as the Assistant Director for Technical Services with the University Unions at Virginia Tech. This position oversees much of production support (lighting and sound needs) for non-academic functions on the Virginia Tech campus. He has served in variations of this position since July 1995.

Brian has received a B.S. in Theatre with and emphasis in theatrical production from Radford University and has attended many seminars and training sessions to continue to improve his knowledge base and to keep current with technology trends. During his time at Virginia Tech, Brian has received many awards and recognitions from various campus organizations. In addition to being active in technical production, Brian seeks experiences outside of live entertainment to increase his overall knowledge related to all forms of entertainment.

During his time off, Brian enjoys reading, spending time with his family, playing with his dog, going to movies, and socializing with friends.
