The Chapel is available for events such as weddings, baptisms, religious services, prayer vigils, memorial services, remembrance events, military commissioning, departmental commencement ceremonies, initiation ceremonies, holiday programs, concerts, and many more.

The rates vary for each event. To discuss availability and pricing, obtain more information, or to schedule an event, please contact the Chapel.

Initiations

The Chapel is available to registered student organizations for initiations. An approved member of the organization will need to come by the Chapel office during business hours to discuss availability and make a reservation.

The fee for initiations is $50 and will be billed to the organization after the event takes place. If the group is having any candles, it is required that an approved open burn permit be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the event. Our staff can help you with the submission and answer any questions you may have.

Memorial Services

The Chapel is available for memorial services for students, alumni, staff, and the university community. There is no fee associated with student memorial services. To discuss availability or for more information contact the Chapel.

Prayer Vigils

The Chapel sponsors vigils such as Martin Luther King, Jr., AIDS Awareness, and Organ Donor Program throughout the year. To schedule an event or find out more information, contact the Chapel.

Organ & Piano Rehearsals

The Chapel is available for organ and piano rehearsals. To make an appointment, contact the Chapel.

Religious Services

The Chapel is available for religious services for which there is no fee charged. The Chapel has time reserved for prayer groups, bible study groups, and individual meditation throughout the year. To schedule a time, contact the Chapel.

Graduation/Commissioning

The Chapel is available for graduations and commissioning. To make a reservation or for more information, contact the Chapel.

Student Ministries

The Chapel is available for use by student ministry organizations for events such as meetings, services, prayer groups, Bible study groups, or praise services. These events may be recurring, and all are scheduled on a first come-first serve basis. Approved members may stop by the Chapel office to schedule an event.
