So how can the Johnston Student Center make your college experience better? JSC not only provides many facilities, but we also provide top of the line customer service as well as other services such as bulletin boards, locker rentals, and access to the Internet.
Information Desk:
The Information Desk is
located on the
first floor of Johnston Student Center. Here
you will find JSC staffwaiting to help you
with any questions or inquiries.
Bulletin Boards:
Feel free to stop by the Information
Desk to have school-related postings
approved for display! Postings must be
sponsored by an official Virginia Tech
organization. You may also post sub-
leases and sale of text books.
Lockers:
Lockers are free to rent per semester
or on a daily basis. The lockers are located on the
first floor of Johnston Student Center. Visit the
Information Desk for more information.
Internet Kiosk:
Need to check your email, assignments on
Black Board, events around campus? Come to
the new Internet Kiosk on the first floor next to
the Information Desk. Note: Internet Kiosk
is restricted to .edu and .gov websites. There
are no printing capabilities with the Internet
Kiosk, nor can files be uploaded or downloaded.
Hokie Passport Machine:
This machine allows to students and staff to add money to their hokie passport and flex accounts as well as current balances.
ATM Machine:
The ATMs are located on the Pamplin/Derring side of Johnston Student Center on the first floor. Our ATMs are accessable 24 hours a day.
Power Point Submission
Submissions for our Power Point TV system need to be submitted with this form to be considered.
Only a maximum of sixteen full page power point ads will be chosen each month to be displayed on the TVs. Advertisements are chosen by the Building Manager and/or the Customer Service Assistant based on appropriate content and student organization status, first come first serve.
Submissions need to be turned in to the Johnston Student Center first floor office. Submission deadline is 15 business days before the event. (Failure to comply or print legibly results in immediate non-approval). If you have any questions contact 231-5266.
