What is UUSA?
UUSA stands for University Unions and Student Activities. UUSA is a unit
within the Division of Student Affairs at Virginia Tech, made up of three
departments: Administrative and Business Services, Student Activities,
and Student Unions. For more information click here.
Where do I go if I have lost something?
If you have misplaced an item, visit the Information Desk on the first floor.
A staff member will be more than happy to check if that item has been turned
in. If not, you can leave a report and we will contact you as soon as that item
is found.
Where is Johnston Student Center located?
Johnston Student Center is located near Buruss and Pamplin Hall, close
to all of the academic buildings. Click here for a visual reference.
What hours are Johnston Student Center open?
Johnston Student Center is open Monday-Thursday 7am-midnight,
Friday 7am-7pm, Saturday Closed (available for private reservations)
, and Sunday 11am-11pm.

"GBJ" stands for G. Burke Johnston. Johnston Student Center's offical
name is G. Burke Johnston Student Center named after G.
Burke Johnston.
How much does it cost to rent a locker?
Lockers are free to rent per semester or on a daily basis. The lockers are located on the
first floor of Johnston Student Center. Visit the
Information Desk for more information.
Is there a phone I can use in JSC?
If you would like to make a phone call to a campus number, a courtesy
phone is located on the first floor, beside the Information Desk. There is also
a pay phone next to the courtesy phone for any other calls.
Where is the Internet Kiosk located?
The Internet Kiosk is located on the first floor of Johnston Student
Center next to the Information Desk.
Can I print from the Internet Kiosk?
No, the Internet Kiosk is not currently set up for printing capabilities, nor can files be loaded and/or downloaded.
