How to purchase tickets?

Over the Counter

Probably the most popular method of buying tickets. There are several advantages when purchasing tickets directly from one of our attendants:

  • Customers are allowed to choose their seats for most events.
  • Attendant may be able to answer specific questions regarding one of our many venues.
  • No service fees when using Mastercard or VISA.
  • More payments types are accepted: cash, checks (payable to Treasurer of VA Tech), Hokie Passport, Gift Certificate, Traveler's Check, and Money Order.

Telephone Sales

Ordering tickets via telephone is a convenient method of purchasing tickets. Patrons may pay for their tickets with MasterCard or VISA. Tickets can be mailed (if ordered more than eight (8) days from performance date) or picked up at the Ticket Office during regular business hours. Prepaid tickets may also be picked up at the event location beginning thirty (30) minutes prior to the performance. There is a $3.00 service fee for reserving tickets over the telephone with a credit card.

Internet Sales

A very popular method for ticket purchases. In addition to the price of the ticket, patrons will be assessed a $2.00 order fee and a per ticket fee ranging from $1.50 - $3.50 (depends on the average price of the tickets) when ordering online. You will be emailed a confirmation of your purchase shortly after placing your order. If you do not receive a confirmation in a timely manner, contact the Ticket Office immediately. Please note that you must enter in the address that corresponds to the billing address of the credit card you are using. When asking to have your tickets mailed, if the billing address is different from your mailing address, then you must notify the Ticket Office immediately with your request to mail them to the correct address. We also may hold your tickets for you to pick up at the Ticket Office or at Will-Call on the night of the event. Use the drop-down bar on the contact information page to choose the Delivery Method that fits your need (the default is currently set to "Your Tickets Will be Held at Will Call"). In addition to VISA/MC, you may also pay with Discover and American Express when ordering online.
