11th Annual Diversity Summit

We Want To Hear From You!

We talk about diversity….
But what is it?

The Diversity Summit is soliciting your thoughts and views on what Diversity is and what it means to Virginia Tech.  Send your comments to divsummit2008@vt.edu.  We know you have an opinion, share with us. Your comments/statements will be anonymous and only your VT classification (staff, student, faculty) will be shown next to your department (see the example).

What is diversity and what does it mean to you?
Diversity is the sense that no matter where you come from, who you are, or what your background is, there is a place for you.Staff, Physical Plant

After sharing your thoughts, make plans to join the campus community at the 11th Annual Diversity Summit on January 25th, 2008 at 2 PM in the Commonwealth Ballroom, Squires Student Center, sponsored by the Commission on Equal Opportunity and Diversity, in conjunction with the Office of multicultural Affairs and part of the 3rd Annual University Martin Luther King, Jr. celebrations. This year’s theme is Diversity: Is it Important?, Whose responsibility is it?, and What does it mean to Virginia Tech?
