How do I get a Drivers License?

How do I get a Social Security Number?

I have received a letter from the Judicial office/ Honor System telling me to come to a hearing.  What should I do?
             The staff at the CIC will assist you through this process.  Please call
             immediately to make an appointment to discuss this process and its
             immigration consequences.

Do I need to purchase Health and Accident Insurance?
            YES.  Students and their dependents are required to purchase insurance
            from the university endorsed provider or an alternative provider.

Where do I find information about the library?
            Blacksburg has two libraries at Virginia Tech and in the community.

I am not living on-campus.  Where do I find housing?
            Blacksburg has many apartments built off-campus but specifically for
            students.  These apartments are accessible through an efficient and
            frequent bus system.  Orientation includes tours of the available
            apartments and shopping trips for furnishings and home supplies.

How can I get to Washington DC?
            There is a charter bus system on the weekend called HomeRide or you
            can look for other rides on the RideShare electronic service.

What is Student Legal Services?
            The services of a lawyer which is paid through your Student Service
            fee.  This lawyer can help with apartment issues, contracts, legal
            problems, etc.
