The Cranwell International Center offers a variety of classes for credit each semester.  All incoming students who have been educated outside of the United States are encouraged to enroll in the First Year Experience class in the Fall of their arrival. This class is only offered in the Fall semester, but will not be offered in teh Fall of 2008 and is very important to the academic and social success of students.

Other classes include: Transitions American Society, and Leadership from an International Perspective.

Students having difficulties in their classes at Virginia Tech are encouraged to come to the Cranwell International Center and talk with us.  We can help with many issues including: working with your professor, time management, incorrect placements, exam concerns, group work, English difficulties, and other concerns. We can also refer you to resources within the university to help with academic skills, special needs, and tutoring.
